simple Mobile Phone Travel Charger

Image
At this point is an ideal cellular phone charger using 1.5 Volt ballpoint cells to charge mobile phone while wandering. It can refill cell phone battery three before four period in the field of spaces everyplace AC power is not on hand. A good number of the cell phone phone batteries are rated by the side of 3.6 in opposition to/500 mA. A single create torch cell can provide 1.5 volts and 1.5 Amps current. So if four pen cells are connected serially, it wish form a battery bunch with 6 volt and 1.5 Amps current. while power is practical to the circuit through S1, transistor T1 conducts and grassy LED light. What time T1 conducts T2 furthermore conducts since its dishonorable becomes denial. Charging current flows from the satellite dish of T1. To reduce the charging voltage to 4.7 volts, Zener diode ZD is used. The output gives 20 mA current on behalf of stupid charging. If additional current is essential for fast charging, reduce the denomination of R4 to 47 ohms so with the ai...

Cell Phone RF Radiation Detector LED

Image
From rookieelectronics: This is my favorite project, its too simple and very interesting because it does not require any voltage source. it converts RF frequency waves from cell phone (whenever you call or send a text) to little current to flash a LED. Actually this project is also called as LED power meter, it is used to test RF equipments. It can detect output power of our FM transmitters, by simply connecting voltmeter in the place of the load(LED) of this circuit.

Nokia releases Amber Windows Phone 8 update for Lumia devices

Image
Nokia has started rolling out its Windows Phone 8 'Amber' update for its Lumia smartphone lineup, which brings with it a number of major software improvements. Nokia's Amber update builds on Microsoft's most recent Windows Phone 8 update and sees the Finnish firm further outdoing HTC and Samsung with unique Windows Phone features. The most notable new aspect is Amber's added camera features. The update adds Nokia's Pro camera app that debuts on the Lumia 1020 to some of its older phones, including the Lumia 920 and Lumia 925. Nokia's Smart Camera app is also made available to more devices, as the Amber update sees the app arriving in the Windows Store. Detailing the Smart Camera app on its blog, Nokia said, "The app brings a slew of different options – use Best Shot to find the sharpest image from a series of ten; combine several shots of people in movement into one with Action Shot; heighten the appearance of speed by blurring the background with Motio...

Build a PIC Security System Dials Your Cell Phone Circuit Diagram

Image
This is a simple PIC Security System Dials Your Cell Phone Circuit Diagram . Do-it-yourself phone dialer security system calls your cell phone, office etc. whenever a door or window is opened, or panic button is pressed. Great Home Alarm. PIC Security System Dials Your Cell Phone Circuit Diagram The circuit consists of a small PIC microcontroller, assembly program, and a few other parts to detect a switch closure from an open door, window, or manual push button and then dial the cell phone number, and transmit a steady tone to indicate the source of the call. The circuit uses the pulse dialing system to interrupt the line connection a number of times to indicate each digit. Pulse dialing (the oldest form of dialing) works by actually disconnecting or "hanging up" the phone line a number of times to indicate each digit. For example, the digit "5" would be dialed by disconnecting and reconnecting the line 5 times in short intervals of about 100mS. There is about a 1 s...

Cell Phone Controlled Audio Video Mute Switch

Image
The circuit of the cell phone-controlled audio/video mute switch . This cell-phone-controlled audio/ video mute switch is highly useful in automobiles. The circuit automatically disconnects power supply to the audio/video system whenever the mobile handset is lifted off the holder for making or receiving a call. You can use any readily available cell-phone holder with some mi-nor alterations or fabricate it yourself as shown in Fig. 1.  Fig. 1: Proposed cell-phone holder   The circuit is wired around IC LM555 (IC1), the CMOS version of timer NE555, as shown in Fig. 2. IC1 is used as a medium current line driver with either an inverting or non-inverting output. It can sink (or source) current of up to 50 mA only, so take care while handling it. The audio/video system is connected to the circuit via normally opened (N/O) contacts of the relay.   Fig. 2: The circuit of the cell phone-controlled audio/video mute switch   When the cell phone is in its holder, LDR1 does ...

Mobile Phone Battery Charger Circuit Diagram

Image
Mobile phone chargers available in the market are quite expensive. The circuit presented here comes as a low-cost alternative to charge mobile telephones/battery packs with a rating of 7.2 volts, such as Nokia 6110/6150.   Circuit diagram: Mobile Phone Battery Charger Circuit Diagram Parts R1 = 1K R2 = 47R R3 = 10R R4 = 47R C1 = 1000uF-25V D1 = LEDs any color D2 = LEDs any color D3 = LEDs any color D4 = 1N4007 D5 = 1N4007 IC1 = LM7806 T1 = 9VAC Xformer 250mA BR1 = Diode bridge 1A Circuit Operation: The 220-240V AC mains supply is down-converted to 9V AC by transformer T1. The transformer output is rectified by BR1 and the positive DC supply is directly connected to the charger’s output contact, while the negative terminal is connected through current limiting resistor R2. D2 works as a power indicator with R1 serving as the current limiter and D3 indicates the charging status. During the charging period, about 3 volts drop occurs across R2, which turns on D3 through R3. An external...
